This is the refund policy in force for every order placed with Recover Your Docs, effective 11 September 2026. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Our preparation fee
- Full refund if you cancel before we've begun preparing or submitting your filing.
- Full refund if we are unable to submit your filing for a reason on our side.
- No refund once the filing has been submitted to the agency, or where the filing can't be completed because a step only you can take (Motus authorization, an original signature, a member's consent, accurate information) wasn't completed. In that case you keep the prepared documents and we'll keep helping you finish the step.
Government filing fees
State and agency fees are collected at cost and paid to the agency when we submit. They are refundable only if they haven't yet been paid to the agency. Once paid, the agency keeps them whether or not it accepts the filing, and we can't get them back.
Membership
The FMCSA/Motus membership can be cancelled at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; service continues to the end of the year you've already paid for. We don't issue partial-year refunds.
How to ask
Email admin@nukebook.io with your order number (it's in your confirmation email) and a line about why. We reply within one business day. Approved refunds go back to the original card through Stripe and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Mistakes on our side
If we prepared something wrong, we fix it and resubmit at no charge. If a filing is rejected by the agency because of our error, we refile at no charge or refund our fee, your choice.
